3. Live Plants

Live plants are natural, living products.

The plant you receive may differ from photographs in characteristics such as:

Natural imperfections

Product photographs are intended to represent the plant variety or available inventory but do not guarantee that the exact photographed specimen will be received unless the listing specifically states otherwise.

Minor cosmetic imperfections, natural growth variations, or temporary shipping and acclimation stress are normal characteristics of live plants.

4. Plant Health and Care

Rockaway Botanica makes reasonable efforts to provide healthy plants and useful care information.

Plant performance after delivery depends on many factors outside our control, including light, temperature, humidity, watering, substrate, pests, environmental conditions, and customer care.

Care information provided through our website, social media, consultations, packaging, or other educational materials is general horticultural guidance and does not guarantee a particular result.

5. Pricing

Prices are displayed in the applicable currency shown on the website and may change without notice.

We reserve the right to correct pricing, product-description, inventory, or other listing errors.

If a material pricing or listing error affects an order, we may contact you before fulfillment or cancel and refund the affected item.

Applicable taxes and shipping charges are calculated as required during checkout.

6. Orders

Some supplier-fulfilled or Shopify Collective products may ship separately and may have different processing or transit schedules.

8. Returns, Refunds, and Order Issues

Returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged-order claims, and other post-delivery concerns are governed by our Refund Policy.

Because live plants are perishable living products, live-plant sales are generally final.

Customers should inspect live plants promptly after delivery and report qualifying order problems within the timeframe stated in our Refund Policy.

9. Workshops and Events

Registration for workshops, classes, pop-ups, demonstrations, and other events is subject to availability.

Specific cancellation, transfer, refund, age, attendance, or participation requirements may be provided on the applicable event listing.

Participants are expected to follow reasonable safety instructions during workshops and events.

Materials, plants, tools, substrates, or other items included with a workshop may vary depending on availability.

10. Plant Services

Rockaway Botanica may offer services including plant consultations, plant rehabilitation, repotting, maintenance, plant sitting, design assistance, and other plant-care services.

Plants are living organisms, and recovery, growth, rooting, pest treatment, rehabilitation, or continued survival cannot be guaranteed.

We will use reasonable horticultural care and judgment when providing plant services, but results depend on the condition of the plant and environmental factors outside our control.

Service-specific terms, estimates, or requirements may also be provided before work begins.

11. Subscriptions

Subscription products are subject to the pricing, billing frequency, cancellation terms, and product details shown when the subscription is purchased.

Unless otherwise stated, the contents of mystery or curated plant subscriptions may vary from month to month based on availability and seasonal considerations.

Customers are responsible for keeping billing, contact, and shipping information current.

12. Third-Party and Supplier-Fulfilled Products

Some products sold through Rockaway Botanica may be supplied or fulfilled by third-party vendors, including Shopify Collective partners.

Rockaway Botanica remains the customer’s point of contact for orders placed through our website unless otherwise stated.
