Begonia ‘Jocko Boy’ | Pink-Spotted Cane Begonia

Meet ‘Jocko Boy,’ a distinctive cane begonia with narrow, pointed green leaves that can develop beautiful pink-to-silver spotting under the right growing conditions. As if the foliage weren’t enough, this collector-worthy hybrid also produces clusters of deep-pink flowers.

Its upright growth habit makes ‘Jocko Boy’ an eye-catching addition to a bright plant shelf, decorative stand or begonia collection. As it matures, the canes can be staked or trellised to create a tall, dramatic specimen.

Why you’ll love it

● Unusual pink and silver foliage markings

● Clusters of deep-pink flowers

● Upright, architectural growth

● Easier-going than many foliage begonias

● Created by begonia hybridizer Walter Dworkin

Care

Provide bright, indirect light and allow the upper layer of soil to become slightly dry before watering thoroughly. Keep in a warm location with moderate humidity and good airflow. Pinch or prune the growing tips to encourage a fuller, more branched plant.

Please note that the amount and intensity of pink spotting varies with the plant’s maturity, lighting and growing conditions. Each plant is naturally unique.
