Weather Protection | Heat Pack + Insulation

Cold-weather protection for Rockaway Botanica live-plant shipments.

This weather-protection charge covers the additional materials and handling used to help protect RB-fulfilled live plants during cold-weather transit.

What’s included

• One 72-hour UniHeat shipping warmer, activated before dispatch when appropriate.
• Insulating material added around the plant shipment.
• Additional cold-weather packing and handling.

Charge: $7.50 per qualifying order, not per plant.

RB-fulfilled live plants only. Shopify Collective and other partner-fulfilled products are excluded because those suppliers control their own packing and shipping methods.

Weather note

Weather protection reduces cold exposure but cannot guarantee a specific package temperature or prevent damage caused by extreme temperatures, carrier delays, or prolonged exposure after delivery. Rockaway Botanica may still hold a shipment when conditions are unsuitable for safe live-plant transit.
